Umpire Feedback Software for Netball
SportsGauge gives netball umpire coaches and observers a consistent way to record and share feedback. From courtside observations to season reviews, it keeps coaching notes accessible and helps umpires understand what to work on next.
Netball Australia and Barwon Netball are among the groups using SportsGauge.
Forms tailored to netball umpires and bench officials
Set up feedback forms around your netball group’s coaching framework, experience levels and badge. Observers can use rating scales and coaching notes for footwork, held ball, obstruction, contact, offside and centre-pass decisions. Bench-official criteria can separately cover scorer and timekeeper duties.
Coaching timestamps for courtside observations
Reference specific game moments to explain the situation behind a coaching point. Instead of relying only on a general end-of-game conversation, coaches can give netball umpires play-by-play feedback they can reflect on.
Coaching context before email delivery
An optional review stage gives managers the opportunity to check observations and add guidance. Once reviewed, feedback is delivered by email so the netball umpire receives it in a consistent, mobile-friendly or desktop format.
A clearer view across the netball season
Stored feedback brings observations together for season reviews and trend analysis. Coaches can look at individual progress, observation statistics and group-wide insights when planning the next development conversation.
